Buses
There is a bus stop in Perouse Rd, close to the Sweet Spot Restaurant. All buses go down Belmore Rd, Randwick Junction
373, 377x and 373x go to Museum Station in the city
356 goes to Bondi Junction Station vis Newland St
In the other direction, at the stop outside Arthurs Pizza Restaurant
373, 373x 377x go to Coogee Beach
356 and 375 go to Eastgardens
There is also the 370 which goes from Coogee to Glebe via Newtown. Bus stop is in Coogee Bay Rd near Perouse Rd
Light Rail
The L2 tram departs from the top of High St, Randwick. A bit of a walk but if you go out the Coogee Bay Rd gates it is not too far.
This goes to Central Station, Town Hall Station and Circular Quay with stops at UNSW, Randwick Racecourse, Moore Park,Surrey Hills And Haymarket
Train
Catch a bus to Bondi Junction station or bus or tram to Central to catch a train
Waverley-Randwick Community Transport
Residents can book the service to take them to and from appointments, shopping trips and social outings to Sydney tourist spots.
Cost is $10 each way.
Residents need to qualify for access to the service by going through My Aged Care - Phone 1800 200 422 and quote their Aged Care ID.
Residents need to request an assessment ( done by phone due to Covid) to establish their eligibility for transport assistance.
Once you have been assessed as being eligible for assistance with your transport needs they will contact RWCT.
RWCT will contact the residents, send them details of their service and how to use it.
I still have my driver's licence but this did not preclude me from being able to use this service if and when I needed it.
